Engineering the Body Alive
Jenn reads bodies the way her mathematician grandfathers read patterns—spatially, precisely, with an eye for what needs to connect and align. When it does, the system hums. She has over 30 years experience and studied with Kelly Kane (New York), Trish Garland (California) and in the MELT Method with Sue Hitzmann. She holds a BS in Engineering and a Masters in Health & Wellness, and has come to understand biomechanics at a structural level.
Jenn is also an artist. She spent 35 years in improvisational movement theatre, studying with master teachers like Ruth Zaporah. She understands that the body isn't a machine—it's alive, dynamic, non-linear. It needs to move, to play, to discover.
This combination—engineering precision meets creative expression—is what makes the BodyKind Method so effective.

In 1992, a car accident left Jenn dealing with chronic pain in her neck and body. Soon thereafter, she stumbled upon Pilates and began training in the method. Her chiropractor asked “your body has been more stable than it has in a year, what are you doing?” A quiet wisdom whispered: this has value.
Years later, lying on a mat at St. Francis Medical Center, Jenn was pressed by her Pilates trainer to “find her scoop." Jenn expressed: I don't get it. Nope, I still don't get it. And then—she got it. She felt her deep abdominals and energy center activate for the first time in her life, despite being an athlete from the age of 12. Everything changed.
That moment became Jenn's mission: How do I help people find their "it"?
